FUEL YOUR ADVENTURE

Programs

Passport Program

Don't forget to scan the passport QR codes when you visit new clubs! Every year, we have great prizes to be won. You need a minimum of two stamps to be eligible. The deadline to enter for the prizes is April 30th. We will be randomly selecting a winner from the snowmobilers who registered. Winners will be announced beginning of May on social media.

Find the QR code on the metal sign at each club's designated location, which may be a staging area or club shelter. Speak to a local club contact (found under club listings on our website) to find the location details if you need help with that.

When you scan the QR code, you will be able to register with your email to prove that you were on the site. If there is no cell service, save a photo of the code into your phone camera and, using Google Lens or other apps, visit the site that way. Let the ASA office know if you have issues with this process.

We designed the Passport program for the ASA's 50th anniversary in 2021 to encourage snowmobilers to visit new clubs.

AST Reimbursement

The ASA AST Reimbursement program will reimburse members up to $400/lifetime. To be eligible, you must be an ASA member, take the course with an accredited provider, and provide the office the following documents before April 30th of each year:

Copy of course receipt

Proof of current ASA membership

Copy of course completion certificate

Our AST program will be reopening for the 2025-26 season. We appreciate all our members who take the time to educate themselves about avalanche safety.

For those who apply, reimbursement will be sent out after April 30 at the end of our season. Please send in your certificate of course completion, course receipt, and proof of current season membership to the office before April 30, 2025. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Email the required documents to info@albertasnowmobile.ca.

EDUCATING RIDERS ONLINE

The Alberta Snowmobile Safety Course

It is recommended that Alberta youth and students take this valuable course on safe and responsible snowmobiling. SNOWMOBILEcourse.com is a delegated provider for the Alberta Snowmobile Association. This course is free!

Since we launched the Online Snowmobile Safety Course, we have provided free education to hundreds of Albertan students. The course was designed for children 13 & Under. We would encourage parents to sit with their children to go through the videos and multiple-choice questions.
